We have courses at different difficulty levels, so everyone can find their most suitable option.

Beginner courses do NOT require previous experience, intermediate and advanced courses are mainly for those who have spent some time on a boat actively participating in navigational duties. 

We have the online course so that you can prepare in advance for your first ever sailing to make your learning process much easier and faster. 

It depends on many factors: what your goals are, what experience you have, which sailing area of the world you are interested in or live close to etc.

On most of our courses you can obtain an RYA course completion certificate both on theory and practical courses.

However it is not mandatory to take an exam. You can also join us on the course without entering the exam if you only want to practice. 

Some courses are designed for enhancing certain skills and gaining experience and getting a certificate is not involved in it. 

Exam options are always stated in the course descriptions.

Online courses

You can cancel your online course membership within 14 days of the date of purchase and get a full refund 

Private training

A deposit of 50% of the tuition fee is payable at reservation.

Deposit is refundable for up to 90 days before the date of the trip (an administration fee* of €250 will be deducted from the refund amount)

Cancellation between 30 days and 90 days from the reserved dates the deposit is not refundable.

Remaining fees of the reservation are due by 30 days before the reserved dates the latest.

Full amount is non refundable** within 30 days of the reserved dates.

*Admin fee covers transaction fees, cost of learning material sent out at reservation and administration costs

**In case we find new clients for the cancelled dates a full or partial refund will be issued depending on the fee we managed to agree on with the new client. You can refer clients to us to cover your cancelled trip. An administration fee of €250 will still be deducted from your refund amount.

Furthermore we’ll not only teach you the theory in the online course, but also the practical side of sailing, so you’ll be visually familiar with a boat and its equipment by the time you actually get on one. 

The Full Time Sailor mobile app is available for members only. When you purchase a course you will receive information about downloading and using the app.

The app allows members to easily view all their classes on their phone even if they have no internet connection.

Offline mode will let you watch every important video even in the middle of the sea.
