Round Turn & 2 Half Hitches

Very useful for attaching a line to a ring, bar, pole, or dock post. Good thing about it is that it can be undone even when under extreme load. I personally use it to tie the dinghy to the rails on the stern of the boat, sometimes to tie the fenders securely.
